This was an experimental print where I added an additional section to an already carved lino.
About paper: Artists’ handmade paper made from the inner bark or bast fibre of mitsumata. Mitsumata is lighter toned and softer than lokta. Known as argeli in Nepal, this is a native plant of the Himalayan foothills. Mitsumata is a sustainable and renewable resource. Plants are cropped above ground level and can be reharvested after 3-4 years. The papers are made using the Japanese nagashizuki dipping and layering method of papermaking.

Due to the nature of printmaking, each print is one of a kind so it may look a little bit different than others. There can be some errors, for example some ink stains or small unprinted areas. If you are looking for a perfectly printed print, this is not one of them.
