It's a handmade paper so keep in mind there can be some small holes, fiber clots or creases.
Keep in mind, edges of the paper aren't completely straigth. It's recommended to use a black background and a larger frame.
Also, the print is purposely made vintage looking, and the lineup between layers may have inconsistencies as part of the design.
The green color is mixed up fresh during each printing so the tone varies - some area lighter, some darker, some patchier.
About paper: Traditional Islamic paper from North India made from a mix of raw sunn hemp fibre and recycled sunn hemp. Handmade on a chapri, a grass stem screen, the impression of the screen is visible on the sheet as a laid pattern. Sheets are dried on a plaster wall and surface sized with wheat starch. The paper is pressed between zinc sheets to make the smooth surface.
This paper is made for Khadi Papers by Mahomed Hussain Kagzi, perhaps the last surviving maker of traditional Islamic paper.
Due to the nature of printmaking, each print is one of a kind so it may look a little bit different than others. There can be some errors, for example some ink stains or small unprinted areas. If you are looking for a perfectly printed print, this is not one of them.
